WELCOME!

The Manitoba Bull Test Station at Douglas, Manitoba is one of the largest bull testing stations on the map.
Owned and operated by the Manitoba Beef Cattle Performance Association Inc., the test station is a non-profit organization that has been in operation for over 40 years.
The goal of the Manitoba Beef Cattle Performance Association Inc. is to develop bulls and heifers to meet the needs of the ever changing cattle industry for both the purebred and commercial cattlemen.
Visitors are welcome all year round to view the facilities and talk to the staff about programs available.  During the test season visitors can get statistics on the bulls and heifers on site and look at quality livestock.

NEW PROGRAMS AT THE DOUGLAS BULL TEST STATION
Here at the Manitoba Beef Cattle Performance Association Inc. (Douglas Bull Test Station) we are excited to announce two new programs for the 2007-2008 test season. To keep with the ever changing trends of the cattle industry we will be implementing a “YOUNGER BULL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM”. This program is designed for the producers that are calving in April, May, and June and want a place to promote their quality animals. These animals will be delivered in mid November and will be put on a 112 day test starting in January. As this is the first year for this program these bulls will not be sold by the Manitoba Beef Cattle Performance Association Inc. at the station but will definitely be available for potential customers to view throughout the test. As well as younger bulls we are offering producers the opportunity to have their yearling bulls custom fed at our facility. As many of you know it can be a challenge to find a place to hold these older bulls for the winter and we would like to be able to provide this service to you. Our goal for these yearling bulls is to condition them for the next breeding season. For more information in regards to these or any other programs feel free to contact us.
