2026-2027 Entry
Dear Cattle Producer,
As we prepare for our 63rd season, we’d like to take this opportunity to thank you for your support and trust in the Station. The 2025-26 season was a great success, with the Station's presence and impact within the beef industry continuing to grow. Without you, the consignors, we could not have accomplished it. We would also like to welcome all new consignors joining us for the upcoming season.
More than a sale day, the Station provides cattle development, performance data, marketing opportunities and connections within the purebred beef industry.
The Station continues to provide breeders with a place to develop, evaluate and market their cattle alongside producers from across Manitoba and beyond. The beef industry continues to evolve, and breeders continue to adapt to new opportunities and challenges. Our Youth Incentive program will continue this next season and is for upcoming beef producers aged 25 & Under. These producers are the future of our industry and our hope is that the Station can be the place they come to build their knowledge, networks and presence within the purebred beef industry. If you know of any youth that may be interested please have them reach out for details. We have also added the option to ultrasound and/or complete the 100K DNA test for bulls & heifers. Please choose which you would like completed.
2026-27 Program Offerings:
Bull development of 112 days (self fed)
Bull development 112 days (target fed, minimum 12hd)
Heifer development program (modified self/hand fed program)
Retained Bull Development (no option for sale, 2026 calendar

Please find attached your fee guide and entry forms for the 2026-2027 development season. The Douglas Bull & Female Development Center encourages consignors to spread the word to all producers in the area so we can continue strengthening the program and the opportunities it provides for consignors. As staff we look forward to working with you, and
we invite you to call us any time with questions or concerns. We can be reached at the station at 204-763-4696. Our email is

We appreciate your continued support of the Station and look forward to working with you throughout the 2026-27 development season. Whether you are a returning consignor or considering the program for the first time, please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions.
